Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Investigation of how electrolyte contamination on the vent of prismatic lithium-ion battery cells affects the alloy surface and impacts the safety of the battery. Ageing studies are carried-out to accelerate the interaction of electrolyte contaminated battery vent at desired environmental conditions. Material properties of electrolyte and battery vent are studied. The surface morphology and mechanical performance of the vent are analyzed.
