Denna forskning handlar om att undersöka samt studera de logistiska skillnaderna mellanstora och små byggföretag inom byggsektorn, mer specifikt under produktionsskedet.Byggbranschen står inför ständiga utmaningar när det gäller att förbättra processen för attmöta de kraven som varje projekt ställer till, där även logistik spelar en avgörande roll förprojektframgång och företagets tillväxt. Forskningen fokuserar på att analysera hur stora ochsmå företag hanterar logistiken, med fokus på transport samt planering av inköp underproduktionsfasen. Vid samma tillfälle kommer även skillnaderna mellan de olika logistiskarutinerna och mål att belysas i denna studie.Syftet med denna forskning är att öka förståelsen samt avslöja skillnaderna i planering ochgenomförande mellan stora och små företag. Syftar även till att ge värdefulla insikter somkan hjälpa företag att förbättra sin logistikverksamhet och på så sätt förbättra deras förmågaatt anpassa sig till förändringar och nå större framgång i sina projekt.Litteraturstudier och intervjuer har valts som metod för att genomföra denna studie, vilketmöjliggör en omfattande förståelse av ämnet genom att kombinera teoretiska ramar medpraktiska insikter från företags synvinkel. Studiens omfattning var begränsad till att omfattageografisk region, storlek på företag och val av typprojekt.

This research is about investigating and studying the supply chain management differencesbetween large and small construction companies in the construction sector, more specificallyduring the production stage. The construction industry faces constant challenges when itcomes to improving the process to meet the demands of each project, with supply chainmanagment also playing a crucial role in project success and company growth. The researchfocuses on analyzing how large and small companies manage supply chain management, witha focus on transport and planning of purchases during the production phase. At the sametime, the differences between the different logistical routines and goals will also behighlighted in this study.The aim of this research is to increase understanding and reveal the differences in planningand implementation between large and small companies. The purpose is also to providevaluable insights that can help companies improve their logistics operations and thus improvetheir ability to adapt to changes and achieve greater success in their projects.Literature studies and interviews have been chosen as the method to conduct this study,which enables a comprehensive understanding of the subject by combining theoreticalframeworks with practical insights from a business perspective. The scope of the study waslimited to include geographic region, size of company and choice of project type.
