Abstract [en]

Optoacoustic imaging is revolutionizing medical diagnostics by enabling early detection ofconditions such as peripheral artery disease. These systems rely on high-performance dataacquisition systems (DAQs) to ensure precise data collection and effective pre-processing ofprobe-acquired information. Maintaining the reliability and efficiency of these components iscritical to preserving the accuracy and functionality of the imaging process.This project involves the development of a fully automated test bench designed to rigorouslyassess the robustness and functionality of DAQs. Key contributions include the identificationof critical performance metrics, the design of custom electronic boards, and the implementationof advanced automation through tailored software solutions. This innovative approach optimizes testing procedures and significantly enhances the reliability and performance of ITheraMedical’s optoacoustic imaging technologies.

Optoakustisk bildbehandling revolutionerar medicinsk diagnostik genom att möjliggöra tidig upptäckt av tillstånd såsom perifer artärsjukdom. Dessa system är beroendeav högpresterande datainsamlingssystem (DAQ) för att säkerställa noggrann datainsamling och effektiv förbehandling av information som erhålls från sondens mätningar.Att upprätthålla pålitligheten och effektiviteten hos dessa komponenter är avgörandeför att bevara noggrannheten och funktionaliteten i bildbehandlingsprocessen.Detta projekt handlar om utvecklingen av en fullt automatiserad testbänk som ärdesignad för att noggrant utvärdera DAQ:ernas robusthet och funktionalitet. De viktigaste bidragen inkluderar identifiering av kritiska prestandamått, design av skräddarsydda elektroniska kretskort samt implementering av avancerad automation genomskräddarsydda mjukvarulösningar. Denna innovativa metod optimerar testprocedurerochförbättrar avsevärt pålitligheten och prestandan hos IThera Medicals optoakustiskabildbehandlingstekniker.
