The project, a hybrid between a community house and a center for horse led therapy, is designed with the intention of exploring the classic barn typology and modernizing a classical timber technique called bole house or post-and-plank. The building is situated in the northernmost part of the land belonging to Stora Sundby Castle and lies near Alberga city center. Alberga is a small town about 30 minutes southwest of Eskilstuna, with close ties to several bigger cities in Mälardalen like Västerås, Strängnäs, and Kungsör. The building is structured around three functions: therapy, socializing, and experiencing nature and animals. The horse-led therapy, HUI, is located in the east wing and houses rooms that allow the therapist to utilize horses and riding in their practice. The two remaining functions take up the rest of the building, with a variety of social spaces and meeting rooms oriented towards the beautiful forest that the house borders.  

Projektet, en hybrid mellan folkets hus och ett center för hästunderstödd terapi, är designat med intentionen att dels utforska den klassiska ladutypologin men också modernisera skiftesverk som är en gammal timmermetod. Byggnaden ligger i den norra delen av slottet Stora Sundbys mark i nära anslutning till Alberga centrum. Alberga är en mindre tätort cirka 30 minuter sydväst om Eskilstuna med nära geografisk koppling till flera större städer i Mälardalen som Västerås, Strängnäs och Kungsör. Byggnaden är strukturerad kring tre huvudfunktioner: terapi, möten och socialisering samt en naturnära upplevelse med hästen i fokus. Den hästunderstödda terapin, HUI, har sin verksamhet i den östra delen av byggnaden och huserar rum som tillåter terapeuten att använda sig av hästar och ridning i sin behandling. De två resterande funktionerna är utspridda i resten av byggnaden med en variation av rum som alla är orienterade mot den närliggande skogen och hästhagarna och är ämnade sociala sammankomster.
