Abstract [en]

This work introduces important concepts when trying to understand the mathematical modeling of a quadcopter. This model is needed for simulation of the quadcopter, which is relevant for control system evaluation. A simulation environment in Simulink is introduced and its required parameters are described. A real quadcopter is used to experimentally acquire these parameters and one of its motors is characterized. The construction used for the motor characterization is described. Simulation with the measured and calculated parameters is shown. Changes to the simulation environment are proposed for a better representation of reality.
