Abstract [en]

This master thesis paper aims at presenting the background research, design and implementation of a collaborative web application system, Wind.

This paper starts with system requirements of Wind. The major system features are explained in order to allow readers to understand what functions Wind should realize. After that, the web application system is designed based on three-tier web architecture. The description of relevant techniques and components that used in this project is detailed described. The starting point of the development process is to interpret Wind’s specification. The implementation of core components of Wind is thoroughly depicted. Finally, a collection of performance tests are going to be carried out to prove the system is capable and satisfied.

The project is designed and developed for the Magic Stone Company in Wuhan, Hubei, China.

Denna magisterexamenuppsats syftar till att presentera bakgrundsforskning, utformning och genomförande av ett webbapplikationssystem för samarbete, Wind. Denna uppsats börjar med att definiera systemkraven för Wind. Sedan förklarar vi främst huvudfunktionerna i systemet för att låta förstå vilka funktioner Wind ska realisera. Därefter presenteras utformningen av webbapplikationssystemet, baserat på en tre-nivåers arkitektur. En detaljerad beskrivningen av relevant teknik och komponenter som används i detta projekt ges i uppsatsen. Utgångspunkten fö r utvecklingsprocessen är att tolka Winds specifikation. Implementeringen av kärnkomponenterna i Wind kommer att beskrivas noggrant. Slutligen presenteras en samling prestandautvärderingar för att visa att systemet är funktionellt och tillfredsställande.

Projektet är utformat och utvecklat för Magic Stone Företag i Wuhan, Hubei, Kina.
