Abstract [en]

Periodically poled KTP and KTA were numerically investigated for nonlinear pulse compression in the normal and anomalous dispersion regimes using cascaded chi((2)) interactions. The generation of sub-10 fs octave-spanning supercontinuum pulses is shown.
