Initially, the project took off in a deep dive into the reference project Pompeia, Lina Bo Bardi, a sports and cultural center that was completed in 1986, São Paulo, Brazil. Lina Bo bardi designed the public meeting place in Pompeia with an open space where different zones represent different functions. It is an open program you can flow through. The spaciousness is light and airy at the same time as it is dominated by strict concrete pillars that support the construction.Investigating the grid and displacements in the grid, as well as the spaces provided when placing the grid on top of each other, without fitting them in, has been an aspect that has driven the project forward. The choice of materials steel, glass and corrugated sheet metal gave the project a distinct aesthetic early in the work process. In the meeting of the grid and the aesthetic, my proposal was modeled. The intention is for the project to have an industrial and timeless expression that is intertwined with the strongly aesthetic appearance. I believe that buildings with a strong design are durable and usable over time, something that is both good from a sustainability perspective but also economical as a building can be renewed and allowed different uses during its lifetime. I have therefore chosen to create three buildings that together function as a body dedicated to recycling and a circular thinking in second-hand and remake to represent a sustainability perspective.

The chosen location for the project is located in Lista sparsely populated outside Eskilstuna. The red marker on the 1: 5000 map marks the location of the Secondhand & Production List project. The other blue markers mark existing second-hand businesses today.

Till en början tog projektet fart i en djupdykning i referensprojektet Pompeia, Lina Bo Bardi, ett sport och kulturcenter som stod klart 1986, São Paulo, Brasilien. Lina Bo bardi gestaltade den offentliga mötesplatsen i Pompeia med en öppen rumslighet där olika zoner representerar olika funktioner. Det är ett öppet program man kan flöda igenom. Rumsligheten är lätt och luftig samtidigt som den domineras av strikta betongpelare som bär upp konstruktionen.Att undersöka grid och förskjutningar i grid samt de utrymmen som ges när man placerar grid på varandra, utan att passa in dem, har varit en aspekt som drivit projektet framåt. Materialvalen stål, glas och korrugerad plåt gav projektet tidigt under arbetsprocessen en distinkt estetik. I mötet av gridet och det estetiska formades mitt förslag i modell. Intentionen är att projektet ska ha ett industriellt och tidlöst uttryck som flätats samman med den starkt estetiska framtoningen. Jag tror på att byggnader med en stark design är beständiga och användbar under tid, något som både är bra ur ett hållbarhetsperspektiv men även ekonomiskt då en byggnad kan förnyas och tillåtas olika användningsområden under dess livstid. Jag har därför valt att skapa tre byggnader som tillsammans fungerar som en kropp tillägnad återbruk och ett cirkulärt tänk inom secondhand och remake för att representera ett hållbarhetsperspektiv.

Den valda platsen för projektet ligger i Lista glesbyggd utanför Eskilstuna. Den röda markören på 1:5000-kartan markera platsen för projektet Lista Secondhand & Produktion. De övriga blå markörerna markerar befintliga second hand verksamheter i dag.
