Steering device (1) for a vehicle, wherein the steering device (1) comprises at least one valve device (2) with an actuating device, the valve device (2) serving to guide at least one fluid flow, the actuating device depending on a relative rotation between an input shaft ( 9) and an output shaft (11), a torsion-related component of an additional torque can be adjusted, the steering device (1) comprising a first actuator (6), the steering device (1) comprising at least one further actuator (7) for adjusting the adjusting device, wherein Output torques of the actuators (6, 7) can be superimposed to provide an adjusting torque, with at least one of the actuators (6, 7) adjusting the setting device allowing an actuator-related component of the additional torque to be set, the steering device (1) having at least one device for reducing of a fluid pressure (p) of the fluid flow,thereby ncharacterizes that the fluid pressure (p) of the fluid flow is reduced when a fault condition of at least one of the actuators (6, 7) is detected.
