Naturum+ är ett förslag till entrébyggnad i Farstanäs naturreservat i Södertälje kommun, utvecklat som kandidatprojekt i Arkitektur under vårterminen 2021. Området för projektet, Farstanäs naturreservat, blev tilldelat via studiolärare under höstterminen. Naturum+ ligger vid starten av tre av naturreservatets vandringsleder. Platsen inom området för projektförslaget är en stor parkeringsplats mellan camping, skogsbryn och odlingsmark. Läget är valt för att möjliggöra potentiellt samarbete med framtida odlingsinkubator samt att verka i samklang med friluftsliv och omgivande naturmiljöer. Byggnadens syfte är att ge rum för att återskapa livsmiljöer för vilda pollinatörer, såsom blomrika ängsmarker, samt att dela information om naturreservatet. Byggnadsförslaget ger rum åt verksamheter som kan verka enligt Södertälje kommuns pollineringsplan, via exempelvis utställning, bibliotek, café & utbildning.

Naturum+ is an architectural proposal of a forest museum, created through an architecture bachelor thesis project during spring semester 2021. The project proposal site Farstanäs nature reserve in Södertälje municipality was assigned by supervisors. Naturum+ is situated by the start of three of the nature reserve’s hiking trails. The site within the project area is chosen for the potential of future collaboration with local organic farming initiatives and to be in harmony with surrounding wildlife. The purpose of the building idea is to create space to recreate wild pollinators’ habitats, such as flowering meadows, as well as sharing information about the nature reserve. The forest museum proposes rooms that give space to act according to the local pollination plan and contains rooms for exhibition, library, café, education and research.
