Abstract [en]

In this paper, by taking a socio-ecological view of resilience in supply chains, we illustrate how three Swedish Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adapted their production systems to the COVID19 shocks. We answer the question of how SMEs can transform their production system in response to high-impact disruptions to maintain their resilience. Our findings show three approaches to tapping into their extended systems to maintain this resilience.
