Bygg- och fastighetssektorn står idag för ungefär en femtedel av Sveriges totala utsläpp avväxthusgaser. På grund av bland annat detta, upprättades 2017 ett klimatpolitiskt ramverk iSverige som stöd för att uppnå klimatmålen. Ett utav målen är att det år 2045 inte ska finnasnågra nettoutsläpp av växthusgaser i atmosfären. En ny lag trädde i kraft den 1:a Januari 2022som påverkar bygg- och fastighetssektorn. Lagen innebär att beställare är skyldiga attredovisa de utsläpp som ett byggprojekt producerat i byggskedet i form av enklimatdeklaration.Syftet med studien var att undersöka införandet av klimatdeklarationer och dess påverkan påbyggprocessen. Examensarbetet gjordes i samarbete med sektionen Real Estate på AFRY. Iarbetet har en intervjustudie utförts där 5 personer med olika roller i värdekedjan fått svara påfrågor om klimatdeklaration och hur det har påverkat dem i sitt arbete. Även en enkätstudiehar utförts i kvantitativt syfte med frågor av samma karaktär som intervjufrågorna. Förfördjupning i ämnet gjordes en litteraturstudie som stöd och komplement till resultatet.I intervjuerna och enkäten berättar respondenterna optimistiskt om de möjligheter ochproblem som de upplevt med införandet av klimatdeklaration. De nämner projekteringen ochhur den kommer att påverkas i form av förändrade arbetssätt och ökad inkludering avhållbarhetsarbete. Det tas upp hur en välplanerad och strukturerad projektering kan bidra tillmindre komplikationer i framtagandet av klimatdeklarationer. Men även hur aktörer somexempelvis produktleverantörer påverkas av de nya kraven och hur det kommer att påverkabyggprocessen. Något som en stor del av respondenterna nämner är hur medvetenheten ochkunskapen kring hållbarhetsfrågor i bygg-och fastighetssektorn, både har och kommer attfortsätta öka.

The construction and real estate sector are guilty of approximately one fifth of Sweden's totalemission of greenhouse gasses. Because of this, in 2017 The Swedish Government establisheda framework of climate policy to help reach the climate goals. One of the goals is that by2045, there should be zero net emissions of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere. A newlaw took effect on the 1:st of January 2022 which affects the construction and real estatesector. The law implies that developers are guilty of reporting the emissions caused by theirconstruction projects in the construction phase. The developers report the emission in aso-called climate declaration.The purpose of the study was to examine the introduction of climate declarations and theirinfluence on the construction process. In the thesis, an interview study has been done withfive different people in the value chain. In the study they answered questions regardingclimate declaration and how it has affected them in their place of work. A survey study wasalso done with questions of similar character to the questions in the interviews. For cavities inthe subject, a literature study was done as support and complement to the result.In the interviews and the survey, the respondents talk about the possibilities and problems thatthey have experienced with the introduction of climate declaration. They mention theprojection and how it will be affected in forms of changes in ways of working and an increasein inclusion of sustainability work. They also mention how a well-planned and well-structuredprojection can contribute to less complications in the development of climate declarations.But also how product suppliers get affected by the new requirements and how it will affect theconstruction phase. One thing that many of the respondents mention is how the awareness andknowledge surrounding sustainability questions in the construction and real estate sector, bothhas and will increase.
