C3 Scandinavian Lifestyle är ett svenskt företag som producerar en bred mängd hushållsprodukter. Bland dessa finns företagets bästsäljande serie perkulatorer, av vilka företaget sålt över en miljon enheter. Med utvecklingen av den skandinaviska köksmiljön introduceras nya tekniska lösningar för att underlätta köksupplevelsen. En av dessa teknologier är induktionshällen, som snabbt tar över som förstavalet för värmespis i hemmet. C3 Scandinavian Lifestyle ser därför potentialen för en perkulator som drivs direkt på induktionshällen och därmed eliminerar behovet av en separat värmeplatta med sladd till vägguttaget.

Syftet med projektet var därmed att undersöka om detta var realiserbart, och isåfall utveckla en teknisk lösning med automatisk avstängning. Genom fysiska tester har det utretts om en perkulator anpassad till induktionshäll är i någon form en realiserbar lösning, vilket det är. Förslag på automatiska avslagning med hjälp av en mekanisk temperaturkänslig switch har utvecklats som teoretisk lösning. Vidare har ett utseende till produkten utvecklats som är anpassad efter skandinaviska kök. Utseendet är utvecklat efter en identifierad målgrupp och passar fortfarande in med C3 Scandinavian Lifestyles varumärke.

C3 Scandinavian Lifestyle is a Swedish company that produces a wide range of household products. Among these are the company's best-selling series of percolators, of which the company has sold over one million units. With the development of the Scandinavian kitchen environments, new technical solutions are introduced to facilitate the kitchen experience. One of these technologies is the induction hob, which quickly takes over as the first choice for a heating stove in the home. C3 Scandinavian Lifestyle therefore sees the potential for a percolator that is operated directly on the induction hob and thus eliminates the need for a separate heating plate with a cord for the wall socket. 

The purpose of the project was thus to investigate whether this was feasible, and if so, to develop a technical solution with automatic shutdown. Through physical tests, it has been investigated whether a percolator adapted to induction hobs is in some form a realizable solution, which it is. Proposals for automatic shutdown using a mechanical temperature-sensitive switch have been developed as a theoretical solution. Furthermore, an appearance for the product has been developed that is adapted to Scandinavian kitchens. The appearance is developed according to an identified target group and still fits in with the C3 Scandinavian Lifestyle brand.
