Abstract [en]

This bachelor thesis will explore a possible solution for making self propelled golf cart with a tracking and positioning system using GPS. The proposed solution involves using two smartphones, one on the golf player and the second one on the cart. By obtaining the GPS position from both devices it is possible to calculate the distance and the direction from the cart and make the cart follow the player.

Denna kandidatuppsats undersöker en möjlig lösning för att skapa en självkörande golfvagn med ett spårnings och positioneringssystem med hjälp av GPS. Den föreslagna lösningen innebär att man använder två smartphones, en på golfspelaren och den andra på vagnen. Genom att erhålla GPS-positionen från båda enheterna är det möjligt att beräkna avståndet och riktningen från vagnen till spelaren och följa spelaren.
