KTH, School of Engineering Sciences (SCI).
2023 (English)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

In this thesis we are going to discuss polycons and their adjoint curves. We willdefine polycons as a type of polygon that allows for boundary curves of degree 2. Theultimate purpose of the thesis is to prove the existence of the adjoint curves of polyconsand, given some assumptions on the intersection points between the boundary curvesof the polycon, we will also prove that its adjoint curve is unique.
