Mätning och utvärdering av spridningskoefficienten för diffuserande panel (Swedish)
Abstract [en]

In this work the aim was to determine the scattering coefficient for a diffusing panel by measurements and also examine the difference between scattering and diffusion. Similar measurements have been carried out in the past in slightly different ways, the method that was chosen was to follow a given standard for the measurement of the scattering coefficient. The measurements were carried out in the reverberation room in MWL at KTH and impulses were sent out for different angles of the diffusing panel with a total rotation of one revolution. The results where evaluated by the calculation of reverberation times from the decay curves which eventually resulted in the scattering coefficient. The result was values between 0 and 1, increasing with frequency. The conclusion that was drawn was that the results were in good agreement with what was expected and that the method can be used in future studies.

Abstract [sv]

I det här arbetet var syftet att genom mätningar bestämma spridningskoefficienten för en diffusor samt undersöka skillnaden mellan spridning och diffusion. Liknande mätningar har gjorts förut men på lite olika sätt, metoden som valdes var att följa en given standard för mätning av spridningskoefficient. Mätningarna ägde rum i efterklangsrummet i MWL på KTH och ljudimpulser skickades ut för olika vinklar av diffusorn med total rotation av ett varv. Resultatet utvärderades genom beräkning av efterklangstider utifrån fallförlopp vilket slutligen gav spridningskoefficienten. Resultatet antog värden mellan 0 och 1, ökande med frekvens. Slutsatsen som drogs var att resultatet stämde överens med vad som kunde förväntas och att metoden kan användas i framtida studier.
