Abstract [sv]

Denna rapport studerar om det är möjligt att bedöma när en anställd måste ta över från en LLM-chatbot inom en arbetsprocess. Studien kommer använda sig av en egenmodifierad version av en existerande hand-off-modell som kan bedöma när en anställd bör ta över. Beroende av genomförbarheten och resultatet för ovanstående modell kommer sedan ett implementateringssramverk presenteras. Detta kommer behandla hur modellen kan implementeras inom existerande organisationer och arbetsflöden. Ramverket kommer även kunna ta hänsyn till hur existerande hjälp- och stödsystem kan anpassas till den nya arbetsprocessen. Slutligen kommer en diskussion presenteras gällande utmaningarna att implementera en hand-off-modell i en organisation, framför allt inom bristyrken. Studien kommer primärt inrikta sig på Mattecoach.se samt liknande organisationer. Mattecoach.se är en digital tjänst som erbjuder grundskole- och gymnasieelever digital läxhjälp inom matematik online. Organisationen är under processen att utveckla en AI-chatbot och för att träna och testa hand-off-modellen kommer därför ett externt dataset med matematikkonversationer att användas. Genom att använda utbildningssektorn kommer denna studie sedan kunna betona de för och nackdelar som finns av att implementera en hand-off-modell inom bristyrken såsom läraryrket.

Abstract [en]

This study examines whether it’s possible to automatically determine when an employee should assume control from an LLM chatbot in a work process. The study will use a modified version of an existing hand-off-model which has the capability to decide when an employee should take over. Depending on the feasibility and the results of the aforementioned model, an implementation framework will then be presented. The framework is meant to address how the model can be implemented within existing organizations and workflows. The framework will also consider how existing support systems could be integrated into the new workflow by suggesting two different options. Finally, a discussion will be presented regarding the challenges of implementing a hand-off-model in an organization, especially in industries with greater labor shortages. The study will primarily focus on Mattecoach.se and similar organizations. Mattecoach.se is a digital service that offers primary and secondary school students math tutoring online. The organization is currently in the process of developing an AI chatbot. Because of this, an external dataset with math conversations will be used. By utilizing the education sector, this study will then be able to highlight the effects of implementing a hand-off model in occupations with labor shortages such as in teaching.
