Multicultural center, located in the centre of Stockholm. A 18 000 squaremeter building for experiencing culture through art and heritage. A place that celebrates Sweden’s long history of migration. In Sweden has Right-wing nationalism grown in recent years, reducing immigrants to being seen more as refugees rather than cultural carriers. When we learn about a culture, many misconception disappear, therefore it is important to create a place for immigrants to organize and have the opportunity to restore a positive image of their culture and background. This project explore thrue architecture how a space can provide room for culture to take place and how to make a statement in the eye of public that multiple culture can coexist.
