With a central position in the harbor, there is better visibility of the development, and knowledge can be shared easily. Additionally, the green transition becomes more accessible with free DIY workshops, electric boat pools, sailboat repair workshops, and affordable spare parts.

Campus Nynäshamn has a vision of the city as a maritime knowledge hub. To achieve this, both interest and education must be gathered in the municipality to maximize benefits at both amateur and professional levels. With learning spaces directly connected to the boat workshop, right in the heart of the city, bridges are built between amateurs, vocational students, and professional life. Consequently, Nynäshamn becomes a socially and economically strengthened harbor city that steps into a sustainable future built on knowledge and engagement.

Den maritime sektoren mangler et grønt skifte for folk flest. Elbåter på markedet i dag er både dyre og med ny teknologi, avskrekkende. I realiteten er det å eie elbåt både mer holdbart for klimaet og egen lommebok. Men for å sende utviklingen rett vei må den få ta større plass i folks liv. Med en sentral posisjon i havnen får man bedre innsyn i utviklingen og kunnskap kan deles over en lav sko. I tillegg blir det grønne skiftet alt mer tilgjenglig med DIY-verksted uten kostnad, elektrisk båtpool, syverksted for seilbåter og billige reservedeler.
