Arbetet som presenteras i denna rapport handlar om utvecklingen av en lärarhandledning för att tillämpa Universell Design för Lärande (UDL) i fysik. Intresset för UDL väcktes under en utbildning om inkluderande och tillgänglig undervisning i Europaskolans regi. Möjligheten att tillämpa UDL inom fysikundervisning sågs som självklar då UDL möter upp syftet med fysikundervisning så som det beskrivs i Gy11 och Gy25.

Rapporten omfattar en omvärldsanalys av befintliga supportmaterial inom fysik för lärare, en teoretisk sammanfattning av UDL samt en genomgång av det fysikaliska innehållet. Vidare beskrivs designprocessen som användes för att utveckla lärarhandledningen och den sammanfattande lathunden. Lärarhandledningen presenteras i sin helhet i en bilaga till rapporten, tillsammans med ett exempel på en lektionsdesign som har skapats med hjälp av lathunden och lärarhandledningen.

Rapporten avslutas med en diskussion kring förslag på vidareutveckling av lärarhandledningen och hur UDL kan implementeras i den verksamma skolan samt inom Europaskolans samtliga skolor.

The work presented in this report is about the development of a teacher's guide to apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in Physics. A training course on inclusive and accessible teaching organised by the European School sparked an interest in UDL. The potential of applying UDL in physics teaching was obvious as UDL harmonises with the purpose and goals of physics teaching as outlined in the Swedish national curricula for upper secondary (Gy11 and Gy25).

The report includes an analysis of existing support material in physics for teachers, a theoretical summary of UDL and a review of the physical content. In addition, the report describes the design process used to develop the teacher's guide and the summary cheat sheet. The teacher's guide is presented in its entirety in an appendix to the report, together with an example of a lesson design that has been created with the help of the cheat sheet and the teacher's guide.

The report concludes with a discussion of proposals for further development of the teachers’ guide and how UDL can be implemented in the active school and in all the schools of the European School.
