Abstract [en]

Two different feedback structures derivedfrom a finite impulse response (FIR) predictor for polynomial signalsare considered.The resulting infinite impulseresponse predictors are studied withrespect to noise gain and step response.It is illustrated that  high order feedback structuresresult in superior performance compared tominimal order feedback structures.
