Abstract [en]

This project proposes a simple mobile platform for testing automotive batteries with power electronic loads and presents a full automotive battery testing and haracterization process from the battery module choice to the final model development. The frequency response of a lithium-ion battery is analysed in opencircuit and load conditions. For the load conditions, a high-frequency AC component is superimposed over the charge or discharge current to emulate highfrequency switching of a power converter. The impedance model parameters are obtained using Bode plot curve fitting and transfer function theory.
