Abstract [sv]

Behovet av badrumsrenoveringar ökar under de kommande åren på grund av miljonprogrammets behov av renovering. NCC vill möta detta behov med ett industrialiserat renoveringssystem kallat InWall-metoden. Idén är att ett nytt badrum byggs inuti det gamla med en luftad konstruktion som ska medföra en ökad renoveringstakt med ekonomiska fördelar. Vid renovering av badrum minskas golvytor då nya väggar monteras i det gamla badrummet. En nivåskillnad skapas även genom att golvet byggs upp. Vår uppgift är att undersöka hur väl InWall-metoden passar in vid renovering av miljonprogrammet ur två aspekter, handikappsanpassning och tillgänglighet samt asbestproblematik. En fallstudie med Intervjuer och frågor har riktats till fastighetsbolag och myndigheter om hur de ställer sig till frågor som nivåskillnader och krympande av badrum, samt asbesthantering vid renovering. Utifrån de lagar och regler samt de svar från fastighetsbolag och Stadsbyggnadskontoret är en nivåskillnad utesluten, antingen ska nivån justeras till omkringliggande nivå eller vara av samma karaktär som innan. Gällande krympande av badrum bör tillgänglighetskrav med god projektering kunna uppnås på badrummen av större mått från senare delen av miljonprogrammet. Om asbest förekommer i badrum vill bostadsbolagen sanera denna. Den byggtekniska funktionen fungerar fortfarande väl, däremot försvinner den goda egenskap och idé med minskad deponimängd som InWall-metoden eftersträvar. Med väl projekterade badrum och en ny utarbetad metod för att minimera nivåskillnader bör InWall-metoden kunna etablera sig som en renoveringsmetod i miljonprogrammet.

Abstract [en]

The need for bathroom renovations will increase over the next few years, mainly because of the million programme and its need of renovation. NCC wants to meet this need with an industrialized renovation system called the InWall-method. The idea is that a new bathroom will be built inside the old one with a ventilated construction that will result in increased renovation rate and economic benefits. When renovating bathrooms there will be a decrease of floor areas because of the new walls that are built inside the old bathroom. A level difference is also created because of the floor being built up. The purpose of this project is to examine how well the InWall-method fits into being a renovation method in the million programme. We will be taking two aspects in mind, asbestos problems and handicap adaptation-and-accessibility. A case study with interviews and questions will be addressed to municipally owned real estate companies and supervising authority on how they take stand in questions like level differences between rooms and shrinking of the bathroom, as well as asbestos during renovation. Based on the laws and regulations and the response from municipally owned real estate companies and supervising authority the level differences will be precluded. The level differences will have to be adjusted to the surrounding levels or be of the same character as before the renovation. The shrinking of bathrooms and the availability requirements could be solved with a good design of installations as toilets and sink inside the bathroom, especially with bathrooms build in the last few years in the million programme. Municipally owned real estate companies want to decontaminate all presents of asbestos if the substance is present in the bathrooms. The method itself would still work, but the use of decreasing the waste volume would no longer be beneficial for the InWall-method. With a good design and a new developed method for minimizing the level differences, the InWall-method can be a good alternative for bathrooms renovations in the million programme.
