Demonstration: Biosignal adaptive first-person shooter game platform for biofeedback gaming experimentations

Abstract [en]

EMOShooter is a first-person shooter game platform for creating different biofeedback game scenarios. Platform is build on top of open source graphics engine, physics engine and audio engine. Platform includes also biosignal capture and real-time manipulation software, as well as synchronized physchophysiological data and behavioral (gamelog) data recording. Platform is build in order to enable various biosignal game adaptations and experimentations. During spring 2008 the platform was used to create a FPS game scenario for testing the unaware and aware biofeedback control of respiration and electrodermal (EDA) adapted game.
