Abstract [en]

TheInternationalWorkshoponEnterpriseInteroperability(IWEI), organized by theIFIPWorking Group 5.8onEnterpriseInteroperability, was held in conjugation with the 12th IEEEInternationalEDOC Conference (EDOC 2008). The convention aimed to identify and discuss the challenges and solutions with respect toenterprise, both at business and the technical level. The selected papers were exhibited in three scheduled sessions, with the fourth session of open discussion on future challenges involving both the speaker and the participants. The first session was presented with a paper 'Framework forinteroperabilityanalysis on the semantic web using architecture models', which was claimed to be influenced by factors as compatibility, ontology completeness, and quality of formal denotation. The topic was discussed with respect to its various sub disciplines from computer science and business management.
