Wooden material under extreme climate changes

The heat treated (HT) ThermoD and untreated species were tested for the extreme climate changes. Theexperimental contained five cycles of soaking in water, freezing and warming. After experimental all samples degradedin colour more or less and some started to crack. ThermoD beech showed the best results. The colour did not changesignificantly and the material did not crack.
