Abstract [en]

This master thesis reports the elaboration of an integrated Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) for cheap, fast and high-resolution label-free biosensing. The work comprises the simulation and design of all the components of the optical device, the processing of the sensor chip and the optical characterization of the sensor.
