Abstract [sv]

Uppsatsen behandlar dagens kontorshyresgästers preferenser vid val av lokalisering. Arbetet har begränsats geografiskt till kontorsmarknaden i Stockholms CBD samt Kista kontors-område.

 

De lokaliseringsval som utreds i studien har delats in i två olika grupper av parametrar. I den första gruppen behandlas parametrar som kopplas samman till de traditionella lokaliseringsteorierna. I den andra gruppen behandlas parametrar som är starkt knutna till företags statusbyggande. För att ta reda på vilka parametrar som är viktiga för företag har en studie genomförts. I studien har hyresgäster, företag som hyr kontorslokal i CBD eller Kista, tillfrågats om sina lokaliseringsval exempelvis angående lokal, område och verksamhet.

 

Resultatet av den jämförande undersökningen visar att parametrar som kopplas samman med de traditionella lokaliseringsteorierna är av stor vikt men för CBD och Kista så är parametrar knutna till statusbyggande överordnade de traditionella lokaliseringsteorierna.

Abstract [en]

This thesis aims to clarify the preferences of office tenants’ when choosing location. The thesis has been geographically limited to the office market in Stockholm’s CBD and the Kista office area.

 

The localisation choices analysed in the study have been divided into two different groups of parameters. In the first group, parameters connected to the traditional localisation theories are discussed. In the second group, parameters strongly connected to establishing company status are discussed. A study has been made to clarify which parameters are important. In the study, tenants, that rent office premises in CBD or Kista, have been asked about their localisation choice, e.g., concerning premises, area and business.

 

The outcome of the comparison study shows that parameters connected to the traditional theories of localization are of strong importance. However, for CBD and Kista, parameters connected to establishing status are superior to the traditional theories when choosing location.
