Implementation of a fuzzy logic controller for an electrical brake

Abstract [en]

In this paper, the implementation of an electrical brake using a self-excited induction generator (SEIG) is presented. The electrical brake has been designed, implemented and tested based on an application for specific types of trains that are used for the sugar cane industry in Queensland, Australia.
