Abstract [en]

This paper presents an analysis of di®erent converter types regarding their suitability for a 15kWpermanent magnet (PM) integral motor. A calculation method is proposed in order to estimatethe e±ciency of the di®erent topologies. The results of the calculations are compared with thecomplexity of the system in order to ¯nd the most suitable converter for this application.
