This report is concerned with the theory of reproducing kernels.
First, a background of elementary facts about Hilbert
spaces is given. The most important theorems are the projection
and Riesz theorems. Some examples are provided
to show how the theory of Hilbert spaces can be applied
to mathematical problems. Second, the fundamental definition
and theorems of reproducing kernels are presented.
Some examples are provided where the theory of reproducing
kernels is applied to solve mathematical problems.Last,
a brief discussion is presented of further use and applications
of reproducing kernels.
