Abstract [en]

The purpose of this study was to create a prototype for an iPhone application that works as a planning aid for people with psychiatric disabilities. The first prototype was created based on information from interviews with three occupational therapists. The prototype was then evaluated by performing user evaluations with five participants that were all diagnosed with adhd and/or aspergers disorder. The final result was a prototype that consists of seven applications: calendar, to-do list, routines, meal-planner, recepies, shopping list and time-aid. The results from the user evaluations were mostly positive and the participants all thought that the prototype was something they would want to use and that would help them compensate for their cognitive difficulties.
