Abstract [en]

The goal with this project has been to construct an energy meter for electrical racing cars in a compact format with good precision. A prototype was developed with help of a shunt resistor connected in a low side configuration. This was galvanically isolated with help of opto couplers and a voltage to frequency circuit. To take all the samples and do all the calculation a micro controller from Atmel was used.

Målet med detta projekt har varit att konstruera en energimätare för elracebilar i en kompakt form som även har en bra precision. En prototyp utvecklades med hjälp av ett shuntmotsånd kopplat i low-side konfiguration. Detta Isolerades galvaniskt med hjälp av en optokoppler och en spänning till frekvenskrets. För att utföra alla mätningar och beräkningar användes en mikrokontroller från Atmel.
