Analysis of fire tests on cross-laminated timber panels (English)
Abstract [en]

Krysslaminerade träpaneler (CLT) börjar få fotfäste i Europas byggindustri då dessa paneler lämpar sig väl som stommaterial i flervåningshus. Problem kring brandsäkerheten har tidigare satt käppar i hjulet för detta miljövänliga byggmaterial. Den här rapporten kartlägger huruvida Eurokoderna för branddimensionering för andra trämaterial går att tillämpa även på CLT-paneler.

In recent years, the interest in cross-laminated timber panels (CLT) has increased among European construction companies. One of the benefits of these panels is that they are well suited for in multi-storey building constructions. However, issues relating to fire safety have previously obstructed the development of the environment friendly CLT panels. This report maps whether the Eurocodes for fire safety of other timbers are applicable also to CLT panels.
