Abstract [sv]

Som kandidatarbete valde jag att skapa en förskola, som även skulle ha övriga publika funktioner integrerade. Fokus lades på själva byggnadens gestaltning samt hur den placerades på platsen för att på bästa möjliga sätt samarbeta med kontexten. 

Då terrängen är väldigt kuperad, utnyttjades detta till att förtydliga programmet i plan. Själva förskolans privata delar fick ligga i suterräng på parknivå, med öppen fasad mot Tantolunden och personalrummen och de mer publika delarna så som restaurang/kök samt dansstudion placerades på gatuplan.

När det gäller programmeringen av de individuella planen utgick jag ifrån praktikalitet samt ljusinsläpp. Parkplanet med förskoleaktiviteterna delades upp i två flyglar med en sammankopplande ateljé/korridor, där de yngre barnen, 1-3 år, placerades längst med spåret, och de äldre barnen, 4-6 år, placerades in mot Tantolunden. Dessa två flyglar omfamnar en mindre innergård som formges för de yngre barnen, och det utvändiga rummet hänges till de äldre.

På gatuplan delas programmet in i två separata fackverksbalksburna volymer, varav ena hyser dansstudios och den andra restaurangen, entréer och personalrum. Naturligt fallande placeras den senare volymen längsgående med Ringvägen, och den första får överdäcka parkplanets flyglar, och skapar en portis in mot innergården. Båda volymerna kragar ut över spåren, där dansstudiovolymen kragar hela 13 meter. En lite lägre volym kopplar dessa samman samt tillgängliggör takplanet för allmänheten. 

Abstract [en]

For my Bachelor degree, I chose to create a preschool, which would include public spaces as well. Focus was placed on the conformation and positioning on the given plot for the best possible interaction with the context.

            Since the terrain is far from plain, this fact was used to elucidate the planar programming. The private parts of the preschool were placed in souterrain on park level, with an open facade towards Tantolunden and the personnel area and the more public parts such as the restaurant/kitchen and the dance studios were placed on street level.

            When it comes to programming the individual levels, practicality and light intake was prioritized. The park level, with the preschool parts was divided into two wings with a connecting studio/corridor, with the younger children, 1-3 year olds, were placed along the train tracks, and the older children, 4-6 years olds, were closer in towards the park itself. These two wings create a inner courtyard which will be designed for the younglings, and the outer, remaining room is designated for the older children.

            On the street level, the program is divided into two separate truss carried volumes, where one hosts the dance studios and the other the restaurant, entrances and the personnel areas. It is only natural to place the later one along the street and the dance studios are placed on top of the two wings, creating a port into the inner courtyard. Both the volumes are cantilevers over the train tracks, where the dance studio volume hangs out as much as 13 meter. A smaller lower volume connects the two together and enables the public to access the roof level.
