Abstract [en]

This study contains a research to Critical Factors for Success within IT projects. IT projects

eal with a high rate of failure and this study aims to analyse the reasons for these failures. The study is based on a literature study and on interviews held with experts from five ifferent organizations. The outcome of the study is that most Critical Factors for Success uggested by the literature is adopted by the business sector. The business sector is aware of  the theory of the Critical Factors for Success but is not using it in a direct way. Finally leven Critical Factors for Success have been recognized by the business sector as highly valuable in IT projects
