Abstract [en]

The experimental, numerical, and metallographical results of the creep failure experiment EC-FOREVER-4, were discussed. Concerning the conservativity of the vessel failure time it was found that the transferability of the material data base is rather limited. In the bottom steel of EC-4, made from the American A533B RPV-steel, sulphur segregations were hardly to be found. The influence of sulphur content on the failure shape at a very low level was also investigated.
