Abstract [en]

Several different solid polymer electrolyte films have been synthesized with a main focus on IPN and semi-IPN structures. Polyethylene oxide films were synthesized from tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylate and methoxy polyethylene glycol (350) monomethacrylate. Polyurethane films were synthesized from 4,4'-methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, trimethylolpropane and 1,3-propanediol. Films with mixtures of these two polymers were synthesized as well. IPN and semi-IPN structures were confirmed through DMA. Ionic conductivities up to 1,93∙10-7 S∙cm-1 and storage modulus in some films above 1 Gpa were obtained. This indicates that IPN and semi-IPN structures are viable as options for solid polymer electrolytes.
