Abstract [en]

In this report, I review previous efforts to probe CP vilations through the measurement of neutrino oscillations, and discuss simulated results in an effort to gauge the potential to glean new insights from a proposed neutrino experiment at the European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden. We find that the precise measurement of 13 opens up new possibilities for neutrino oscillation experiments, making it likely that we will be able to rule out CP-conserving values for the oscillation parameter CP within a near future.

I denna avhandling ger jag en överblick av tidigare försök att mäta CP-symmetribrott genom mätningar av neutrinoscillationer, och diskuterar simulerade resultat vars mål är att uppskatta potentialen att få nya insikten från ett föreslaget neutrinexperiment vid European Spallation Source i Lund. Vi finner att den sentida mätningar av 13 öppnar upp nya möjligheter för neutrinoscillationsexperiment, vilket gör det sannolikt att vi kommer att kunna utesluta CP-symmetribevarande värden för oscillationsparameters CP inom en snar framtid.
