Abstract [sv]

En likströmsomvandlare av synkront likriktad buck-typ för stora strömmar designas i denna rapport. Vanliga problem och lösningar gås igenom och beräkningar av lämpliga komponenter görs. Kretsen simuleras först med ett resultat som överensstämmer med kravspecifikationen. En prototyp realiseras som fungerar men ej uppnår önskad utström. Detta tros bero på bristfällig signal till gate på primära transistorn. Med mer utlagd tid på projektet förväntas det att problemet hade kunnat lösas.

Abstract [en]

A synchronous direct current buck-converter for large currents is designed in this paper. Common problems and solutions are presented and calculations of suitable components are done. The circuit was first simulated with a result that agrees with the set specification. A prototype is realized which functions but could not reach the wanted output current. This is believed to be because of an imperfect gate-signal to the primary transistor. With more allocated time it is expected that this problem could have been solved.
