Abstract [en]

A micro-controller generator is created to generate synthesized VHDL code of customized micro-controllers. In addition, this generator can be used to develop the required assembler for the customized microcontroller. Also, a script is developed to synthesize the customized micro-controller in Encounter RTL Compiler. Several micro controllers are generated using the proposed micro-controller generator in a 65 nm CMOS technology. Physical design of these micro controllers are also carried out. By customizing the micro-controller using the proposed generator, the gate count and power consumption will be reduced considerably.
