Abstract [en]

One of the four new excited superdeformed bands found in Dy-151 is characterized by transition energies that lie midway between the gamma-ray energies of the yrast superdeformed band in Dy-152. This result adds significant new information on the issue of ''identical'' bands, as it confirms predictions based on the strong coupling model and the pseudospin coupling scheme.
