Abstract [sv]

Detta projekt avhandlar konstruktion och bygge av en robot som en hyllning till den världskände svenska artisten Robyn. Målet med roboten är att den ska kunna vara med på en konsert med Robyn och interagera med henne och publiken. Robyn har visat sitt teknikintresse genom flera låttexter så en robot för att spegla detta vore en passande hyllning. Roboten är konstruerad i metall och har en 16x16 LED-matris där ett flertal bilder kan demonstreras, lysdioderna kan blinka i takt till musiken. Roboten är stillastående men kan rotera med hjälp av en stegmotor samt röra två armar med varsin servomotor. Alla applikationer styrs med en fjärrkontroll. Denna rapport följer vägen från idé till en färdig robot redo för en konsert.

Abstract [en]

This thesis discusses the design and construction of a robot as a tribute to the world famous artist Robyn. The objective of the robot is to interact with Robyn and the audience. The robot is constructed by metal and has a 16x16 LED matrix. The LEDs can flash to the beat of the music. The robot can rotate the body with a stepper motor and move two arms with the help from two servo motors. A remote controller controls all the functions.
