The authors regret that the original version of this article unfortunately contained a mistake. All the words and "carrageenan-rich fraction" should be replaced by "porphyranrich fraction" Also, "κ-carrageenan", "ι-carrageenan" and "λ- carrageenan" should be replaced by "porphyran" The correct Figures and associated text are given below.
