Abstract [en]

Industry 5.0 marks the next stage of industrial revolutions, seamlessly integrating human capabilities with advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things. This transformative approach emphasizes human–machine collaboration to enhance work quality and improve customer experiences. The pivotal technologies driving Industry 5.0, including smart manufacturing, advanced automation, and data analytics, are thoroughly explored. The chapter also investigates key enabling technologies for Industry 5.0, along with the concept of the Metaverse. Furthermore, it presents and discusses technical frameworks that offer implementation perspectives on Society 5.0 and the digital technologies of Industry 4.0. The comprehensive analysis sheds light on the potential benefits, challenges, and future trends of Industry 5.0, highlighting its profound impact on industries, the workforce, and society as a whole.
