Abstract [en]

This thesis aims to simulate and implement the attitude control of a satellite usingreaction wheels. It may also be viewed as a practical guide designed to explain, in asimple and accessible way, how to directly implement an attitude controller. Thework first introduces the mathematical formulation of the problem, followed by itssimulation in Simulink. Since the research work has already been carried out, thereader is provided with a fully functional model, along with precise references tobooks and articles for those wishing to explore the topic further. The obtained resultsare presented and interpreted, offering a first demonstration of the controller. Toconclude this work, a dedicated program has been developed to automaticallydetermine the controller parameters based on the physical characteristics of thesatellite. In summary, this thesis is recommended for anyone wishing to implementattitude control by themselves, providing in just a few minutes a clear, global, andfunctional understanding of the subject.

Abstract [sv]

Denna avhandling syftar till att simulera och implementera attitydkontrollen för ensatellit med hjälp av reaktionshjul. Den kan också ses som en praktisk guide som påett enkelt och lättillgängligt sätt förklarar hur man direkt implementerar enattitydkontroll. Arbetet inleds med en matematisk formulering av problemet, följt aven simulering i Simulink. Eftersom forskningsarbetet redan har genomförts fårläsaren en fullt fungerande modell, tillsammans med precisa referenser till böckeroch artiklar för den som vill fördjupa sig i ämnet. De erhållna resultaten presenterasoch tolkas, vilket ger en första demonstration av kontrollenheten. För att avslutadetta arbete har ett särskilt program utvecklats för att automatiskt bestämmakontrollenhetens parametrar baserat på satellitens fysiska egenskaper.Sammanfattningsvis rekommenderas denna avhandling för alla som villimplementera attitydstyrning på egen hand, eftersom den på bara några minuter geren tydlig, global och funktionell förståelse av ämnet.
