Abstract [en]

Brutalist architecture is the central figure of the study. Beauty, with its complex interplay of emotions, memory, and perceptions, weaves its influence through our surroundings. Influenced by this, brutalist architecture stimulates a debate characterized not by definitive answers, but by diverse interpretations. The life cycle of a building plays important role of the thesis. As architecture evolves over time, a fundamental question arises: how do we understand architecture, what is valuable, and what can be removed? Based on OSH building existing situation, the way to repurpose, reuse and reconstruct is suggested. During the research, every accessible element is documented and plays an exceptional role in the design process. It takes time and patiance to see the value in details and the way to reuse.Following the idea that brutalist architecture supposed to belong for people, the pavilions were designed. Each pavilion offers a distinct and easily navigable journey through the site. New structures serve as a conservation of OSH building and is a harmonious amalgamation of old and new.
