Abstract [en]

Intersectionality, originating from Black women's activism, has challenged mainstream feminism with its emphasis on the interconnectedness of race, class, and gender oppression. Intersectionality has enriched organizational studies by bringing to light various intersections of inequalities and challenges with implementing the approach in equality policies. Cross-cultural management research engaging with intersectionality is still evolving. To complicate culture by bringing in intersectionality's original premises, social justice, inequalities, and power differentials, is by no means an easy feat. However, intersectional approaches informed by post- and decolonial perspectives and researcher reflexivity hold many promises for opening up cultural constructs within this field.
