Abstract [en]

Single-color light therapy has substantial scientific evidence supporting its healing effects on depression. Recent experiments have also demonstrated the effectiveness of multi-color light therapy, which combines different light colors with adjustable intensity, color temperature, and exposure time, in alleviating depressive symptoms. To facilitate the implementation of such multi-color light therapy, we propose an IoT architecture designed to manage a combination of light parameters based on experimental setups. This framework includes emotion data sensing, data communicating, and light control, all implemented with a focus on usage safety and adjustability. Such framework integrating psychological support, multi-color light therapy, and its IoT implementation, defines an embedded hardware development pipeline for IoT-based multi-color light therapy solutions in depression relief.
