This chapter serves as a conclusion to this book, The Future of Labour: How AI, Technological Disruption and Practice will Change the Way we Work. This chapter starts by discussing the background and the premise of the book. It continues to discuss the current state of digitalisation and artificial intelligence (AI), and then proceeds to summarising all the contributing chapters included in this anthology, and later synthesising the chapters’ findings according to the section of the labour landscape they are set to discuss. This chapter draws to a close by synthesising all of the conclusions presented in each section and discussing the findings brought forth, while ending with some reflection and suggestions for how to address the underlying issues that may face the labour market of tomorrow.
